You can use our heated swimmingpool and jacuzzi from april until late october.
In addition we have a kneipp basin which you can  use after a long day in the mountains.

Shady forest paths, lonely field trails, and gravel roads – or would you rather take the easier asphalt bicycle paths along the valley floor? It doesn’t matter whether you prefer pleasant bicycle rides for the whole family or challenging mountainbike tours over hill and dale: This is a paradise for bicycle enthusiasts. The new bicycle path from the Brenner Pass till Bozen/Bolzano is a segment of the Munich-Verona bicycle network, and passes through the Eisack Valley / Val d’Isarco right past our hotel. We have a secure parking space for your bike and also bikes which we can lend you.

Biking and Rail

For both mountainbiking and city biking: Our Hotel zur Brücke is situated at the bicycle bridge belonging to the Munich-Verona bicycle network, and represents an excellent starting-point for cultural and athletic bicycle journeys to the north and the south. To the north, you’ll find the “Mary’s Ascension into Heaven” pilgrimage church in Trens und then the famed Fugger city of Sterzing/Vipiteno; to the south, there’s the fortress of Franzensfeste/Fortezza and the Bischop’s city of Brixen/Bressanone. The artist’s city of Klausen/Chiusa is even farther south, approx. 20 km away. By there at the latest, it’s time to consider returning by train – an option gaining in popularity.

Hiking and Culture

Mittewald/Mezzaselva is just 7 km von Brixen/Bressanone on the floor of the valley. You can climb from Schalders/Scaleres, on past the Schrüttensee Lake and the Alpine meadows, and on to the Radlseehaus… you can stroll through fruit orchards and chestnut forests, stopping occasionally at a rustic inn for a hearty snack and some refreshments… and then hike through vineyards to the Neustift /Novacella monastery to admire the famous library. There is a rich variety of hiking trails only a few kilometers from Mittewald/Mezzaselva , offering a wide range of cultural treasures.

 

 

Water Light Festival

The Water Light Festival powered by Durst celebrates this year its fourth edition and takes place from 8th to 31st May 2020 in Bressanone / South Tyrol. On the occasion of the fourth edition, the festival is extended with installations also in Novacella, Fortezza and Chiusa. Local as well as international artists will transform the water sites of Bressanone into a unique light ocean through creative ideas and different light installations.
